“This past year I've been working primarily in drawing as something I can work on at home. My drawings became a practice of world-building, stemming from daydreams, fantasy, and escapism.

The selected drawings included in PPE both happen to have dogs in them, which I use to teeter the line between reality and fantasy. The animals in my work often are mutated in some way, half dogs with wings like in Walter or dog clouds like in Pink Dog. My goal is to create a remote world where anything is possible.”
